Basalt fiber needle felt is made from 100% basalt fiber, using precise chopped fiber lengths and mechanically bonded through a needling process without additional adhesives. This ensures efficient thermal insulation and excellent sound absorption. The standard thickness of the needle felt ranges from 3mm to 25mm, with a uniform density of 100kg/m³ to 220kg/m³. It can also be provided in other specifications upon request.
Basalt needle felt pads are easy to handle and can be cut into any desired shape and form. They are primarily used in exhaust systems of cars and motorcycles, as prefabricated pipes and die-cut insulation panels, or in applications requiring higher temperature resistance in various situations.
